When I click on the VB Icon on the desktop I get a box with run. I click run and get the VM setup box. I click next and get custom setup. The location is G, but I have no G. I click browse and get the message "The volume G:\ is currently unavailable. Please select another". I click OK and get the message "Oracle VM VirtualBox 5.0.12 setup wizard ended prematurely.
The partition on Windows 7 Pro, 64 bit hot that I wish to install VB on is J:\. Why can I not select the J partition and ever time I click browse the VM ends. Thanks.

Re: Can't install VB5.0.12 on partition
There are many types of VirtualBox icon that you might have on your desktop, which one are you referring to?
If you mean that you put a shortcut to a VM on your desktop then clearly that shortcut is no longer valid. It points to a location that is now invalid. Delete the shortcut, run the VirtualBox manager, make sure the VM you want is present, and create a new shortcut.

Re: Can't install VB5.0.12 on partition
Personally when I read this post I had no idea what the user was asking. I thought based on the title he can't install the VirtualBox application to a particular partition and was asking why. But the way everything else was worded just confused me. Hopefully he can clarify.
