1. I've had PMs disabled for 6 years.
2. I don't remember bugs, not that there weren't any. I just don't remember.
3. I was reminding the user it worked for me.

I don't remember there being an etiquette problem to re-post. Sorry if you had a problem with that. Of course I've seen you, the mods and others do the same.
