Virtual box only pulling 32 bit on windows server 2012

Virtual box only pulling 32 bit on windows server 2012
I am attempting to install virtual box on windows server 2012 - I have been able to do so however when I pull up the configuration for virtual box it is not allowing me to select the 64 bit options for red hat. All I am getting is the 32 bit selections. I am operating on a windows server 2012 64 bit software. The question here is what is causing this to take place ? Does Virtual box have a issue with windows 2012? What I am trying to install is a linux red hat based system 64 bit.
