Hello.
Download the Elementaryos-0.3.2-stable-amd64.20151209.iso, we have to prepare a virtual machine to be installed in the Oracle VM VirtualBox.
Resolution of the display, this is, but I have installed Want to VBoxGuestAdditions the expansion to 1920x925 so very small at 640x480, could not be.
If you have person there you know how to install the installation of VBoxGuestAdditions to a virtual machine of elementary OS thank you for your professor.
Thank you.

Re: For resolution of change of elementary OS display
Moved to "Linux Guests" since the Windows Host is not relevant to the question asked.
Elementary seems to be an Ubuntu variant, so you need to follow the instructions for installing the Ubuntu guest additions: https://www.virtualbox.org/manual/ch04. ... 8644044608.
And do make sure that they are actually installed, i.e. don't stop after inserting the virtual CD in the VM.

Re: For resolution of change of elementary OS display
p.s. Elementary looks interesting, I hadn't heard of it before. Unfortunately the ISO download seems to hidden behind a mandatory paywall, so I guess I won't be trying it. I'm very much in favor of paying for software, but there's no way I'm paying anything before trying it.

Actually, if you choose "Custom" and enter "0" for the amount, you're redirected to your download. Torrents are available as well, but I'm not sure how many seeders there are out there...

Re: For resolution of change of elementary OS display
FWIW, installing the guest additions in eOS is the same as installing them in any 'buntu distro. The main issue is they don't pre-install any GAs so the guest window does open at 640x400 which makes it somewhat difficult to maneuver.
First update eOS using Applications>System Tools>Software Updater and restart the guest.
Then run this command in the eOS Terminal...
From the VirtualBox menu, select "Insert Guest Additions CD Image..." from the Devices menu
In eOS, open Applications>System Tools>Files
dbl-click the VB CD image in the Sidebar.
Now to be able to do this the easy way...
Type sudo in the eOS Terminal, then drag the Linux additions file into the terminal window and hit return.
Once it's done, restart the guest.
easy peasy.
Hint: to reduce the size of the windows in eOS while trying to install the GAs, click the diagonal arrows at the top right of the windows.
