I have three questions regarding the Host-Only networking on a Windows 8.1 host.
- How do I enable IPv6 Support for it? (The fields are greyed out/disabled)
- For the DHCP Server, do I have to setup a VM to act as one, or does VirtualBox automatically act as one if I set it for/to 192.168.x.1?
- For some reason, none of my guests can access the Host's IP when pinging. However, my host can reach out and touch my guests via SSH just fine and without issue. Any ideas as to why?
Oracle VirtualBox Version 5.0.10 r104061.

Re: Host-only Networking Questions
I have no idea about IPv6 on a host only network (and no idea why you would want it), but I can help you with the rest.
The DHCP server will be set up automatically (on the host), and so will the IPv4 addressing scheme.
The ping problem is probably a firewall issue on the host.
