networking problem windows 10

Hello, I've already posted this question on a windows 10 forum but they were not able to solve this problem. I have a windows 10 professional lenovo laptop. I installed virtualbox and windows xp in virtual box. I am able to browse some sites such as msn with internet explorer in xp in virtual box. I tried going to google and received a message that I was connecting to a secure connection and then it couldn't connect. I've tried downloading adobe reader in xp in virtual box and I can't. The default connection is virtual box is NAT. I tried bridged connection and that also didn't work.

You need to install a modern browser in your XP guest.
