Mouse click & capture suddenly stops working on Linux Guest

Hello,

I have been dealing with an issue where the ability to click or capture the mouse pointer suddenly stops working on a secondary screen. Re-enabling the screen in VirtualBox has no effect. If I toggle full-screen, this does not work as well and eventually the main screen is affected. Keyboard functionality continues to work.

Please help. There is no other fix other than restarting the Guest OS which is CentOS 6.
