the worst that could happen is it doesn't fix it.

Yeah maybe, it's only got 4gb of ram and it takes 1 1/2 minutes to boot up but otherwise runs fast.
Well, it still won't work, i tried remaking aliases and restarting and drinking a cup of coffee
and it still no work!

Do you use any third party programs such as Onyx, CleanMyMac etc?

btw? this would go a heck of a lot faster if you reloaded your browser tab periodically instead of waiting for the email notification.

That might be the problem. Download VB 5.0.12 and it's extension pack and install it.
