Strange mouse issues Centos 7 KDE

Hi,
Not sure if it's the correct place for this thread so please move it if you find it inappropriate.
I'm having very weird mouse issues. I'm using the latest VirtualBox 5.0.10, the latest Centos 7.2 with guest integration components installed. KDE 4.10.5.
I do work a lot in the console (konsole). I do use mouse highlighting and copying and pasting a lot. It keeps happening now often and often but when I highlight a text in the console or a block of text and want to copy it my mouse cursor changes from the "typing" one to the "pointing" one and I cannot highlight anything anymore. Mouse cursor remains the same regardless of where I actually point it or what I want to do. I cannot drag windows I cannot change tabs in konsole nor firefox, I cannot highlight anything to copy in firefox. There is no errors in the system logs at all. There is no errors in Xorg logs. The only way to get it working again is to restart X.
I have seen similar description of this problem in Chrome web browser but this is irrelevant in my case as my problem is more system wide not just an application wide but the fact is something crashes when I highlight the text in the console.
Any help really appreciated as it's really frustrating.
Regards.
