Sorry, my English is bad
Nowerdays computer PC notebooks (Dell inspiron i7) are no more equipped with cd/DVD readers or inscribers
So it's no more possible if I buy a new pc notebook to engrave .iso on DVD-RW
With VirtualBox, I use for several years, it is obliged to engrave .iso on DVD-RW
How can I manage later to use .iso files without engraving?
Thank You

You do not have to write an .iso to a CD/DVD. You simple mount the .iso directly in you VM. You have two ways of doing it:
  1. If you're running VBox 5.x you can go to the "Details" pane of your VM, click on the "[Optical Drive] Empty" (the text right of your CD device) and choose "Choose disk image...".
  2. In any version of VBox, click on the Storage option. Select your CD/DVD icon on the left side. Click on the CD/DVD icon on the right and choose "Choose Virtual Optical Disc Drive...".
PS. If anybody is reading this from the Documentation department, a little consistency in the wording wouldn't hurt... ;)
