Hi VB,
As far as I can see there is no device-mapper 1.02.97 rpm package in RHEL7/Centos7/SL7 yet.
Therefore the dependency problem below if using the VB repositories

RHEL7 device-mapper rpm
Re: RHEL7 device-mapper rpm
I'm having this problem too. Can't even install Virtual Box let alone upgrade it.
Re: RHEL7 device-mapper rpm
The problem seems to be that for some reaons the VirtualBox-5.0.12_104815 packages require a newer version of a device mapper lib.
I have found a fix for my Scientific Linux distribution:
That updated the device-mapper packages from the Rolling repo (which is like the Rawhide repo from RedHat).
As this is a development box I don't mind having unstable packages on there for a short time.

Re: RHEL7 device-mapper rpm
Same here on a standard RHEL7:
[root@mpfuetzn lib]# cat /etc/redhat-release
Red Hat Enterprise Linux Workstation release 7.1 (Maipo)
[root@mpfuetzn lib]#
Might it be, that VBox now only supports RHEL 7.2?
