Somehow the orientation on my Oralce Linux guest has changed to portrait. Not sure how that got switched, but I have a tall skinny display. I tired turning up the resolution and the display just got taller. I can't find a setting for the orientation. I guess this could be a guest OS issue, just seems odd for it to change. What's more odd is that the mouse is shifted. Meaning that I have to move the mouse slightly to the left of what I want to click for it to work.
Is there hope or is it time to start over?

Re: Screen orientation changed on guest
Change File|Preferences|Display|MaximumGuestScreenSize to None.
Then try dragging the window border to an appropriate aspect ratio.
Moving this topic to "Linux Guests" since the question is irrelevant in the chosen forum (Windows Hosts).

If that does not help post the guest log file ( as an attachment )
Re: Screen orientation changed on guest
I forced the display size to 800x600 and it looks normal. I suspcet there is a limitation on the resolutions I can choose. For now I'll live with this resolution.
