Windows XP: Unable to get DnD working with latest lubuntu

I have followed step by step the guide for enabling Drag and Drop, and it just does not work.

Host is Windows XP SP3 (32 bit), guest is lubuntu 15.10 32 bit.

I have Version 5.0.10 r104061 '5.0.10' of guest additions installed in the guest. These are Oracle's guest additions, installed from the CD image menu.

I got shared folders to work, but drag and drop does not work after 8 hours trying literally everything theres on the internet.

So I have enabled logging on both host and guest. In the host logs, there aren't any lines starting with "DnD". And the guest log appears empty whenopened with leafpad.

Maybe this version of VB or lubuntu are not compatible with each other? I've enabled DnD a couple of times in the past and didn't have any problem.

XP is not a supported host for VBox 5.x. DragNdrop doesn't work for me there either.
