Please read the following:
Minimum information needed for assistance. As far as the VBox.log.zip goes, here's what you do:
- Start the VM.
- Record the error message if any.
- Shut down the VM.
- Right-click on the VM in the VirtualBox Manager.
- Select "Show Log..."
- Save it, ZIP it and attach it in your response.
PS. Just out of curiosity, what's the FlightSim that you're trying to run?

Something funny I noticed in your logs (funny, not as in "Ha, ha, funny", but as in "The yogurt tastes funny", kind of funny):
00:00:01.268363 Guest OS type: 'WindowsXP_64'
You have chosen the Windows XP 64 bit as a template for your guest. Are you
absolutely sure that you have the 64 bit version of XP? If you do (doubt it), it's going to be very tough to get drivers for your hardware, USB controller and device included.
Here's my canned response #37 for troubleshooting USB issues...
Follow the steps below. If there is a failure, please state which step failed:
- Make sure that USB 2.0 is enabled in your VM settings.
- Create a USB filter in your guest settings while the device is plugged in the host. Delete all values except Name, VendorID and ProductID.
- Unplug the device.
- Start your guest (the one that you applied the filter to). Let it start completely. Log in if you have to.
- Plug your device. The filter should capture it and pass control to your guest. You might get a "New hardware found" wizard on the host, that's normal.
- If the device shows up in your host and is not captured by the filter, either the filter is incorrect, or there might be a problem with your filter installation.
- Shut down the VM and now zip and post the log.
- Are you by any chance using a USB 3.0 port?
- Is the VirtualBox USB Driver installed in your host? Make sure your host didn't silently reject non-MS drivers (Google for Driver Signature Enforcement).
- Post the output of the following commands:
VBoxManage list usbhost
VBoxManage showvminfo "Your_Virtual_Machine_Name"
Please read an older post of mine:
[Solved] USB device (gamepad) grayed out, can't be selected.

Oh, and a couple more things:
- You shouldn't copy-paste the title from
another thread (which, btw was marked as solved and where you replied to),
especially if you do not have the same problem. You do not have a "drive" that is not accessible, you have a "gamepad", or if you prefer a more generic term, a "USB device", although I prefer topics to be ... on topic.
- I found out the FlightSim that you're using from the logs, don't sweat it...
