Excel 2016 can't open file in Windows 10

Hi,
I've an issue when I'm trying to open a file in Excel 2016 from the Explorer under Windows 10 guest. The error says that "There was a problem sending the command to the program"
Reading different solutions on windows forums, I found that if I disable the hardware acceleration graphics in excel, then the file opens normally.
There are some roundabouts where the file opens fine with hardware accelerated graphics enabled:
- If Excel is already open and open a file from the explorer.
- If I open the file form Excel.
The only scenery is that opening a file from explorer while the Excel is closed and HW acc graphics is enabled.
setup:
- Guest: Windows 10 pro x64 using hyper-v and graphics acceleration enabled.
- Host: Windows 7 Enterprise x64 @ Intel i5 4300M
- Virtualbox: 5.0.10 r104061

1. You can attach screenshots instead of deprecated links which many won't go to look at.
2. You should file a ticket on
Bugtracker

1- I tried to link the file using the [img] code, but due to forum restrictions I cannot do it. This is a new account. I corrected it. Thanks
2- I thought about that but I prefer to ask if there is any solution before issuing a ticket

When you are creating a message, there is an "Upload attachment tab", to be used for (drum roll), attaching logs and screen shots.
I see you found it.

as it turns out the screen shot wasn't necessary. Your post said the same thing.

Are you trying to open the file from a shared folder or a mapped Windows network share? If so, try to copy the file to the Desktop and see if it works (my bet; it has a pretty good chance).
You see, by blocking part of the image, the only thing you've accomplished is to give us a partial description of the problem. The only hint that I have is that "mapping" on the left hand side. Are you working for Sandia and this is the formula for the new top-secret ballistic missile? If not, there's absolutely no reason to hide potentially vital information when you're troubleshooting a problem...

@ Sandia.
I just learned it takes nearly as long to install Office 2016 in a guest as it did to install Windows 10 in the first place.

It doesn´t matter the source. It appends Either in shared folder or mapped or from the desktop.

You're correct. They won't open from the desktop. File a ticket.

Nope. The first thing I did before writing the ticket is to test it with the latest test build
