No wireless on fresh Kali install
No wireless on fresh Kali install
I see many questions and answers on this topic. When I installed kali onto a usb drive, the installation found my wireless access point, and asked for a key and connected just fine. However when I installed kali on the same computer under Virtual Box, no wireless is found. iwconfig shows eth0 - no wireless extension, and lo - no wireless extension. In VB settings I've tried changing from NAT to Bridged adapter, which show my correct wireless card, but I still get no connection from kali. I see posts referring to downloading extensions, but if I need another download, how did the same .iso find my wireless when installed under a different context? Thanks for taking the time to read this.
