I have Windows computer, installed Virtualbox and inside Linux Mint. It slow down scrolling screen especially in FullScreen Mode (1920x1080)
Is possible hardware Linux acceleration, maybe in future?

You need to shut the guest down ( not saved state ) and enable 3D acceleration in the display section of the guest settings.

I see the GAs ISO mounted in the virtual drive, but I see no evidence that the Guest Additions have actually been installed in this VM. None of the acceleration options will work if the GAs are not installed. The user manual has details of how.

I see the Guest Additions in the log but they do not state the version because the guest was started in a saved state.
I do know that 3D was not enabled by looking at the other information they provided earlier.

Ah, I see thanks. [ I know that the GAs will consist of an API provided by the host plus a driver bundle in the guest which talks to the API. I had thought that the only GAs evidence I was seeing was probably just the API reporting its own stuff in the log. ]

The answer is no there's no 2D acceleration available, except Windows guests and not all of them. You can have 3D acceleration.

You know as much as anyone...
The developers never reveal their plans. But, given the fact that they've pretty much said that they're having problems working with/fixing the 3D acceleration, and are asking for users to contribute code for 3D on X11... I don't think it's going to be happening soon.
