I need a tutorial that explains how to save the virtual disk that contains an operating system on an other disk where there is not VirtualBox installed. I have to do the following things:
1.Moving a disk with Windows 7 from C: to D:
2.load the disc with Windows 7 to another computer
3.Create a new virtual disk with a new operating system (Linux) saving now all in D (I do not want to create in C and then move in D)
If it is easy could you explain to me it using a simple English? If it is not easy could you adviser to me a good tutorial please?
Thanks for the support, I love VirtualBox very much!

Re: Backup and restore of VirtualBox virtual disk
Just to emphasise: a backup is no good unless you back up everything - i.e. the entire VM folder.
