I have VirtualBox 5.0.10 installed on an OpenSUSE 13.2 host. On an OpenSUSE 13.2 guest I've installed the guest additions and everything works as long as I log in using the root user or the local admin user I created when installing OpenSUSE. The guest is joined to a Windows domain using SAMBA 4. When I log into the machine using the domain user account this message is generated "VBoxClien: Failed to connect to the VirtualBox kernel service. rc=VERR_ACCESS_DENIED. The main issue is that I cannot resize the desktop by dragging it.
The domain user account is in the domain admins and the domain users groups and also in the local users group.
I have another OpenSUSE 13.2 guest on the same host and use the domain login and the kernel service is working. I didn't have to do anything other than join the domain to get this machine working. On the machine that doesn't work I have tried leaving the domain and joining it again but that didn't help.
Permissions for everything I can think to check are the same on both guests so I must not be looking in the right place. What specific permissions should be set to allow my domain admin user account to work?
VBox Kernel Driver will not load with one user account.

Is that user member of the group vboxusers?
Thanks, ucrasher.

Re: VBox Kernel Driver will not load with one user account.
I posted on 12/1 and after a couple days I had to rebuild the machine for other reasons. Pretty sure I tried adding the user to the vboxusers group but users that don't have any issues are not in that group.
