Unable to load R3 Module. PLEASE HELP!

Post by Renegadez-NL »

Hi guys,

I know this is a problem that seems to come back from time to time, and this time I am sick of it to change to my laptop to use it there.
I am running:

OS: Windows 7 64 bits
RAM: 8GB of RAM
CPU: intel i5 2500k

Virtualbox version 5.0.10 r104061

I get this message upon starting ANY guest OS:
Unable to load R3 module C:\Program Files\Oracle\VirtualBox/VBoxDD.DLL (VBoxDD): GetLastError=1790 (VERR_UNRESOLVED_ERROR).

Resultaatcode:
E_FAIL (0x80004005)
Component:
ConsoleWrap
Interface:
IConsole {872da645-4a9b-1727-bee2-5585105b9eed}
I am still searching for the Startup log file, if its needed please point out were its located or how I can obtain it.

Other then the above I dont know what else to give you guys on information I have read "Minimum information needed for assistance." I got command prompt open in the vbox folder so I can run additional commands for information as they pointed out.

PLEASE HELP!

First thing I noticed in the log:
00:00:01.372709 Host RAM: 8083MB total, 2058MB available
00:00:01.746872 RamSize <integer> = 0x0000000080000000 (2 147 483 648, 2 048 MB)
00:00:01.747222 VRamSize <integer> = 0x0000000000900000 (9 437 184, 9 MB)
Your host has 2058 MB available and you're allocating 2048+9 MB for your guest (plus some overhead). You're leaving your host with nothing to work with. Either close some applications on the host or allocate less memory for your guest. 1024 MB wouldn't be such a bad idea.
