Hi,

I did install Virtualbox 5.0 on Windows 8.1. Actually on the Virtualbox I need to install Windows 7 32 bit.
My laptop is i5 Processor, 8GB RAM, 500GB Hard disk.

I m unable to increase the CPU more than 1 in Processor Tab. Please find attached images.
I tried to install in another laptop and Processor tab is enabled and i was able to select 2 CPU, not sure what happened on my laptop.

Could you suggest any, I did go through the forums but didnt get any solution that worked.

Thanks
Ak

>1 core requires VT-x.

See the following topic: the requirements for >1 cores is similar to what's needed for 64bit guests: FAQ: I have a 64bit host, but can't install 64bit guests.

The only additional requirement assigning >1 cores to a guest is, of course, >2 cores in the host CPU (you should reserve at least 1 core for the host). And bear in mind that threads are not cores. If you have 2 cores with hyperthreading, then you have... 2 cores.

I believe my previous answer is complete, I would have asked for more information if I needed it.
