Solution for problems with Guest Additions

On my Acer Aspire V3 with LinuxMint 17.2 Cinnamon and VirtualBox, I installed Windows 10 with Office 2016 and it worked well.
But after some Windows updates I got problems which mostly can be repaired by re-installing Guest Additions. Now that wasn't possible anymore.

Then I found another solution which worked.
I installed Revo Uninstaller Pro and with that program, I succeeded in re-installing Guest Additions.
Now the problems with screen-resolution and sharing Linux-maps are solved and all works fine (until now )

Moved to "Windows Guests", since I doubt very much that singing the virtues of a Windows registry cleanup app is of great interest to "Linux Host" users.
