I would like to share a folder from VM to host machine. I am able to ping VM from host machine but I am not able to access shares. I can do it the other way round.
Any ideas?

Re: share a folder in VM to host machine
Sure with a true network share you can. But this requires bridged mode or host-only. You can also share a host folder with the guest and put what ever you want the host to access you put in the guests folder that is used for the share.

Thank you !! I can share the host folder to the VM.
The VM network is bridged adapter . I am not able to share the folder in Guest /VM to the host. I have the guest additions installed.

Re: share a folder in VM to host machine
You are actually sharing the folder of the host to the guest. Map the shared folder to the guest and you can use it both ways.
