vboxmanage startvm not working

Post by aimjay »

Hello
First of all, sry for my bad english.
I'm having this problem using Fedora 20 as host, some VMs refuse to boot up using vboxmanage startvm VM --type headles or any other variant. The command seems to run successfully and the output from bash is normal, but nothing happen. with VNC open, the VM start and immediately turn off. If i start it from GUI everything goes fine. Other VMs start without any problem from command line.
Any idea?
Thank in advance
Regards.

A few things to consider.

1) VirtualBox was not intended to run as root. It appears that you are. Issues can happen.
2) You may want to upgrade to 5.0.10 as there were a lot of fixes in the first versions of 5.*
