So I am currently running VirtualBox on a Windows 7 Pro host. All is well.
Now I am considering the free Windows 10 upgrade but I am concerned that VirtualBox will break.
If you have done this upgrade, did you encounter any issues with VirtualBox and the new Windows 10?
Thanks,
Ray
Updating Host from Win 7 to Win 10
Re: Updating Host from Win 7 to Win 10
Hi Ray, I was on 4.3.20 with Windows 7 Home Premium without any issues. After upgrading to Windows 10, that version will not even start. I upgraded to VB 5.0.10, and now I get an error when booting a virtual machine. My advice is to stick with your present set-up if VirtualBox is important. (It is to me, too, but foolishly I did the upgrade before I learned that it does not work with 10.)

Actually, for most people VirtualBox does work on Windows 10.
The obvious thing to do is perform a whole disk backup of your host before upgrading to Win10.
