Not unless you have some reason to believe that is required.
Like Perry I've noted that you are booting from a CD, and have been running the VM for over an hour. So, I'm guessing that you never actually installed this VM, you have been running from a live CD, suspending the VM instead of shutting it down. And you probably came a cropper when you updated VirtualBox (always risky when you have suspended VMs).
I see no alternative to (a) discarding the saved state, then (b) install the guest OS properly to the virtual hdd - do not run as a live CD. After installation, install the Guest Additions too.
Oh, and I'd disable the KVM provider API that's currently enabled.
