Hello,
I can´t run any vm, everytime i get this error:
REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG (0x80040154)

The virtual machine 'abc' has terminated unexpectedly during startup with exit code 1 (0x1). More details may be available in 'C:\Users\Administrátor\VirtualBox VMs\abc\Logs\VBoxHardening.log'.

You don't think it might have been better to provide the log file mentioned in the error message, instead of a randomly selected other log?

As it happens, I suspect that the error message was wrong as well. The quoted error (as far as I know) usually means that VirtualBox was not installed correctly. In fact it usually means that you are not using the software from the same login account which was used to install it.

You have to install the software for the correct user account, and use "Run as administrator" to allow device drivers to be installed.

I have just 1 account and "Run as administrator" didn´t help.

It's amazing the amount of people who have the same problem.

Just google that error code.

Nobody found the solution.

The Problem seems comparable to the Problem described in the thread REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG when start VirtualBox 5.0 on W7 in this Forum. I have posted there a solution which worked for me. Might be the same Problem in this case.

I´ve tried it but unfortunately it didn´t help. Does anybody have a different solution?

No, it didnt work for me.

But, it's a big problem because many people suffers it.

Please provide information to https://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/14296 to get this mess fixed ASAP.
