Hi All!
Issue: I'm having trouble increasing the size of my virtual hard disk.
Details:
HOST is a Windows 7 PRO 64 bit machine, up to date and running MSE for AV. I'm got an AMD Athlon II @ 3 Ghz, and 20 GB of RAM.
GUEST is Windows 10. I created a Windows VM, installed Windows 7 PRO (same OS as the HOST), and upgraded to Windows 10 via that annoying update/notification box. Storage for this VM is SATA Port 0: Windows10.vdi (Normal, 32.00 GB). I have it set to dynamically expand.
I would like to increase the size of the vdi because the GUEST OS is running out of space. Using a post I found on this forum that I am not allowed to post the url of, I followed the directions and my results are below. I have posted the directions of the post below my results for reference.
Would someone please point me in the right direction for resolving this issue?

Re: Trouble increasing vdi size
Verify the absolute path because it appears not to exist.Could not find file for the medium 'C:\Users\DLeach\VirtualBox VMs\Windows 10\Windows10.vdi' (VERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND)

Alright, I verified it, and i've inserted a link to a screenshot (which is apparently too large to attach here?!) for reference.

Re: Trouble increasing vdi size
Did the guest use the same CD key as the host? This is just as an aside, but I hope you understand that this invalidates the activation of the host.dleach4512 wrote:I created a Windows VM, installed Windows 7 PRO (same OS as the HOST), and upgraded to Windows 10 via that annoying update/notification box.
As to the error, the VM seems to be called "Windows 10", but you used a filename "Windows10.vdi" (missing space), and of course there is no such file.
