Non-paged pool leak?

Hi!

Host: Windows 8.1 Pro , 256 GB RAM , Xeon E5 2640 v2
VirtualBox 4.3.32 r103443

Problem: 159 GB of Non paged pool used up

Process Explorer shows one VirtualBox.exe process is having about 12MB NP memory used (the second largest process has less than 220 KB and others below 100 KB).

High NP usage is usually a memory leak in some driver or similar.

Did anyone else experience a problem like this?

Where to start looking?

There is a VM with 200GB RAM running, with snapshots.

Considering you may be the only forum member with your particular hardware set up I wouldn't think others would have the same issue. However, feel free to attach the vbox.log for the guest.

The most obvious thing in the log are the many repeated lines like:

Code: Select all

11:21:34.456233 OHCI#0: Lagging too far behind, not trying to catch up anymore. Expect glitches with USB devices
I'll post the complete logs in a minute.

The log and VM config file attached as a ZIP file (otherwise it exceeds the upload size limit).

PS: The files are edited. Some personal details like (VM/host/user)names are changed.
