Your log still shows you using automount and this is going to continue to cause you issues.

Also I see you have mounted the guest additions in the virtual CD/DVD drive but you have not installed them. Shared folders are not going to work without them.

Thanks a lot for your prompt and continuous support. I was able to complete the task successfully.

As per your suggestion, installed the GA again.

10) sh ./VBoxLinuxAdditions.run

11) "Share folder" to copy the files from Windows to Guest OS Oracle Linux 7.1
[root@localhost]# mount -t vboxsf sf1 /mnt
==>here sf1 is sharename

I am able to see the shared_folder sf1
