I have been using a USB Wifi Dongle on my Virtualbox but it recently broke. I bought a new one to replace the old one, a different brand/model. Now whenever I click device and activate on my VM, I instantly closes with no Message. If I startup the VM with the device enabled in the USB Filters and plugged in, My VM will again instantly crash at the BIOS Screen.
What the heck is going on?

We wouldn't have the faintest idea since we don't have 1) your new or 2) your old dongle, or 3) your setup. The only way that we can know is if you follow the instructions in the article: Minimum information needed for assistance.dereks wrote:What the heck is going on?

Actually, we need to see the whole log. Zipped.
- Start the VM.
- Record the error message. EXACTLY. Post a screenshot if you have to.
- Shut down the VM.
- Right-click on the VM in the VirtualBox Manager.
- Select "Show Log..."
- ZIP it and attach it in your response.
