When making an new email in Outlook 2016 from Gmail I receive a server error.
Could this be due to using a VM-environment?
Does someone knows how to create a Gmail into Outlook 2016 working from a VM-environment?

The Gmail-to-Outlook connection initiates from Outlook, which comes from within the guest. The guest's network setting set to NAT or Bridged should work. If you can browse the internet from within your guest, then the virtual-machine aspect should be out of the equation.
