Re: vt-x is disabled in the bios
Coreinfo tells you what the CPU is capable of, not whether it is currently configured to do so.
And if you get that error message: it usually isn't.
OTOH, "Hypervisor is present" gives me cause for concern. But, checks around the web tell me that this indicator is not reliable. It probably just means that VT-x is locked.

Re: vt-x is disabled in the bios

Re: vt-x is disabled in the bios
The error message already told you that. Now you need to boot into your PC's BIOS and fix it.

Re: vt-x is disabled in the bios
No, that is just coreinfo with pictures. Please just go into your host's BIOS and fix it, or not. I will not answer this same question again.
Re: vt-x is disabled in the bios
You do not have to answer it ! , and your help is needed if you are not welling to help !

Re: vt-x is disabled in the bios
My VMplayer is showing more than 1 processor option as you can see , so before going and messing with my BIOS I had to make sure that we really have to do so . So I was instructed to go and check intel utility this is all .
And again it is simple and direct if he think that I am wasting his time with my questions he can just ignore my post !!

Re: vt-x is disabled in the bios
I have been looking into this issue for around a week now , specially in this forum . I have seen so many people asking this question and the reply always "check coreinfo and intell utility " .

Re: vt-x is disabled in the bios
The basic problem is that, although VirtualBox needs to be able to use vt-x, there is no way that you can enable it from within VirtualBox, of from the host OS either. It is a hardware setting in the physical machine and can only be enabled from the BIOS settings of your computer.
There is no standard procedure to do this. The motherboard manufacturers have made no effort to produce a standard format for BIOS settings. In fact they seem to be in competition to make them as obscure as possible. There also seems to be no logic in why they enable or disable some options in one BIOS but not another.
You need to find out what the setting is called in your BIOS and how to enable it. Anyone here could only do that if they had exactly the same machine as you do. The website of your PC or motherboard manufacturer would be a good place to start.

Re: vt-x is disabled in the bios
Are those screen shots of VMware Player? If so, then you may very well have answered your own question already.
