Freezing when mouse drags off the screen

My Ubuntu VM freezes when even I'm trying to copy text and my mouse goes outside the VM.
VM:
*14.04.1-Ubuntu
* 32 bit
* VBox 5.0.8
* 4GBs RAM
*Guest Additions installed
HOST:
*16GB RAM
*Win 8.1
Any fixes?

Not great. A log for a completed session would be more useful.

Moved to Windows host.
I would also mention that the log looks truncated and does not show the boot sequence and other critical information. Compress the log if it is too big otherwise, and as Don said shut the guest down first.

I figured out what caused the problem, I turned drag and drop off and now it's fine. Not a great option but good enough.
