Help with releasing mouse and keyboard in OSE

Can anyone please tell me why I cannot release the mouse back to the host without shutting down the guest. When I press the right mouse key it is not showing up on the takbar as being pressed. It is really frustrating to have to do this each time. Any help would be very appreciated.
