"Check for Updates" not detecting 5.08?

I have 5.06 on Win8.1 x64 and Win7 x64 hosts. When I do File -> "Check for Updates..." the checking dialog appears and checks, then a msg dialog says I have the latest version. Why doesn't it detect 5.08 as being a new version. Auto notification worked when I was on 4.3.

My Preferences for Update is check once per week and check for "All New Releases".

It is common for them to wait for a week or so to make sure that there is no breakage before they add it to auto check update.
