Hello
after updating from 10.8.5 Mountain Lion to 10.11 El capitan my virtual maschines will not start.
I have a Win7 and a Win Xp, bothe have the same failure:
Fatal: Could not read from the boot medium, system halted
I am using VM 5.0.0 r101573

You need to submit some more information. Please read the following: Minimum information needed for assistance. As far as the "VBox.log.zip" goes (one of the most important diagnostic tools), here's what you do:
- Start the VM.
- Record the error message. EXACTLY. Post a screenshot (if you have to).
- Shut down the VM.
- Right-click on the VM in the VirtualBox Manager.
- Select "Show Log..."
- ZIP it and attach it in your response.
- Start the VM.

I fixed the Problem, I deleted the mashines an took the last backup.
So the machines start again. Lost only the last updates.
I think it was the OSX update that changes some.
