sf_D_DRIVE Empty in Ubuntu 15.10

Post by TomL12953 »

I'm using VB 5.08 on Windows 10 (64-bit) and running Ubuntu 15.10 guest. I've added myself to the vboxsf group and can see sf_D_DRIVE in the media folder. When I open it, however, it's blank. There are no files nor hidden files in it. I have it set to auto-mount in VB settings. Is there something else I need to do? This worked in previous versions of VB.

I had something similar happen with my LMDE 2 guest on an OSX host. I rolled back the guest additions to 5.0.4 and it was fine. No idea why. Still investigating.

Attach the vbox.log

With the VM fully shut down, right click it in the VB GUI. Select "Show Log" and save "VBox.log" (ONLY) to a zip file. Attach the zip here.
OSX, Linux and Windows Hosts & Guests
There are three groups of people. Those that can count and those that can't.

OK, here it is. Whew! That's a lot of data!
