Client : Win 7 home
Virtual Box 4.3.30

Bringing this old Mac to a workplace for simple client. However the work place network printer does not support Mac as they did not buy the driver. Want to install a Win 7 client just to print on the printer. However I have difficulty to setup the Win 7 VBox client to print.

1) The subnet mask is 10.x.x.x while the printer is 192.x.x.x
2) Searched some old thread that people advise to install the win 7 printer as local and print thru the Mac network printer. However the network printer does not Mac protocol at the beginning so not sure if it works.


anyone has any idea how I can make it work? Tks

You would need for the guest to be using bridged networking, not NAT as you are currently using, in order for the VM to be able to access the physical network which the printer is attached to.
