Running bonkheads in win95

Post by Rabeeb »

I have recently started using win95 in Oracle Virtual Box, and trying to run the games 'Bonkheads'. The game opens, but freezes at the (1 player; 2 player; Demo; Load game....) page. The sound lags and the game doesn't respond. Can any1 help me on this matter?

It cud've been a problem of settings. I have the following settings:

RAM: 256 MB
Chipset: PIIX3
IO APIC: Disabled
EFI: Disabled
Hardware clock in UTC Time: Disabled
Processor: 1 CPU
Execution Cap: 100%
Acceleration:: PAE/NX: Disabled; VT-x/AMD-V: Disabled
Nested Paging: Disabled
Display: Video Memory-26 MB; Monitor Count-1; 3D acceleration-disabled ; 2D video acceleration-enabled

As a beginner, which are the best settings for running games in VirtualBox?

Post a VM log file. With the VM fully shut down, right click it in GUI. Select "Show Log" and save "VBox.log" (ONLY) to a zip file. Attach the zip here.

There are no Guest Additions for Win95, which means that graphics performance will be poor (basic simulated VESA graphics).
