Installed VirtualBox 5.0.8 and try to run a windows 10 guest the first time but it hangs on the windows logo at boot time. There is no loading animation.
I don't know if it matters but getting the message "VT-x/AMD-V hardware acceleration is not available on your system."...
Is my hardware or software not supported?

Yes, it matters. You can't run any flavor of Win8.x or Win10.x as a guest without VT-x/AMD-v.
The actual error message in the log is :
VBox.log wrote:
00:00:05.596132 HM: HMR3Init: Falling back to raw-mode: AMD-V is disabled in the BIOS (or by the host OS)
So, you have an AMD CPU, and you need to enable AMD-v support in your host PC's BIOS.

The Virtualization option is enabled in my M2A-VM BIOS.
I don't know how to figure out if its a Host OS or hardware problem.

Checked the BIOS setting again and it was disabled.
It works now.
