Kernel Panic booting Ubuntu from Virtualbox on Windows 10

Post by seangole »

Hi,

I've installed virtualbox 5.0.6 r103037 and am trying to boot Ubuntu 32 Bit, but everytime I boot it gives me this error (end Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init! exit code= 0x00000004)

I've also tried booting 32 bit arch linux and get the exact same error

Details:
Running Windows 10 Home 64-bit, AMD FX-6300, 8GB RAM, AMD 970A-UD3 Motherboard, ATI AMD Radeon HD 7950 graphics card
Guest: ubuntu-14.04.3-desktop-i386, 2gb ram + 8gb vdi, and archlinux-2015.10.01-dual, 2gb ram + 8gb vdi

I've attached the log files for both ubuntu and arch linux, any help would be appreciated as I have no idea what might be causing the error, thanks :)
