Proxy not working in Ubuntu guest...

Since I updated my Ubuntu,
forwarding through a proxy in firefox is not working.

Attached is my log file (I think).

Please help!!!!

I connect to the internet fine in the guest if I choose No Proxy
in Firefox. But if I choose a proxy, it fails to connect.

What makes you think this is a VirtualBox issue? Did you also update VirtualBox or change any of the VirtualBox settings?

No, I didn't change any Virtualbox settings.
The only change I can recall is updating the guest OS.

So what could it possibly be if not a virtualbox issue?

Since the host and VirtualBox have not been changed it must be Something in the guest or firefox.

Hmm... I just installed a fresh, new different OS.

Same problem.

So it's probably not the guest OS.

Must be the ... well it can't be a Firefox issue, because it's a fresh Firefox as well.
And the guest OS is different. So I don't know.

I guess it's a problem with the host;
because I've tried 2 browsers and 3 different guest machines.
