I tried clonevdi to clone a windows xp vdi. I got an error message that says "Go OS error 0 when reading from source file>" What does this mean?

Primary OS: MS Windows 10
VBox Version: VirtualBox+Oracle ExtPack
Guest OSses: Mostly XP

Well, the short answer is that it means that the source file is damaged. Specifically, it has been truncated. (OS error 0: because no actual I/O error occurred, just the file is shorter than expected).
