Hi Community,
Something weird is happening to me. I have 2 computers, One of them is a laptop with AMD A10, ATI Radeon, 8GB RAM, 1TB HD. The other one is an Intel Core i7 NVIDIA 8GB RAM, 1TB HD.
This horror movie starts like this:
I did install Windows 7 Professional at same time on both computers.
> install the same version of virtualbox (version 5) on both computers.
> create a virtual machine (Centos 7 ) on both computers. (2,3GB RAM - 32GB HD - 2 Processors)
> I've updated same packages and install an oracle xe 11g database. Everything, the same on both computers.
On AMD PC, Oracle installation hangs on:
"Configuring database..."
but on NVIDIA system, the installation ends correctly.
Now, my question is: Does it any sense? What's wrong with this? Could anybody help me? Does it have a solution?
Thank you guys,
Does my computer architecture matter with VB performance?

At that point in time you are not running VirtualBox, you are running the standard Windows Installer (MSI). I suggest that you Google for MSI issues, such as the hang when checking the database.
