Display resolution problem with guest additions installed
Hello! Upgraded my latest Mac mini to El Capitan and virtualbox 5.0.6 without any problems, used it for couple of days, and suddenly today, my screen resolution in guest Windows 7 became 640x480 16 colors. Had to restart guest win7 after reboot I could use only square 1400x1050 resolution, like I had no guest additions installed. Tried to reinstall guest additions but with no luck. Please help me to return my wide screen 1900x1200 like it was before glitch.

Re: Display resolution problem with guest additions installe
Something had to change on either your Host, i.e. installed new software, changed VB settings etc., or something in your Windows 7 guest changed due to updates or corruption etc. Software doesn't spontaneously stop working unless you have a hardware failure.
attach the vbox.log for the Guest…
With the VM fully shut down, right click it in the VB GUI. Select "Show Log" and save "VBox.log" (ONLY) to a zip file. Attach the zip here.

If you have Elmedia Player installed be sure to uninstall it. It causes numerous problems in OSX 10.11

now i can see wide screen resolution 1920 x 974 but it's little bit smaller then my previous resolution. I want 1920 x 1200. I didn't do anything just rebooting vm and now i have a new resolution. That's going on. Log is attached.
