Unable to boot Virtual box on Windows 7 Lenovo L430

Hi,

I am unable to boot the vm server. Attaching the screenshot with the error that I see when I try to boot it.
Please let me know how to troubleshoot and proceed further. I am using VM for the first time, so have no clue of how to go ahead on this issue.

Depends if you host has 64-bit capability and that you have enabled VT-x/AMD-v in your bios, but the message says you need 64-bit and you have selected 32-bit.

If you post the guests log file ( as an attachment ) we can tell for sure.

I am not sure if I have installed 32 or 64-bit. But from the outset it looks like I have installed a 32-bit guest on a 64-bit host.
Regarding the Bios setting that you are talking of, I have received a error prior to this one about this. So, I have reduced the memory to 3GB to solve that issue. Attaching the files.

• You have setup your VM as a 32-bit Ubuntu installation. Hint; take a look at the picture you attached; you didn't even have to provide the log
• The VM came most probably from a 3rd party, 1) based on the name of the VM (hcmdb-ses-854-14) and 2) the fact that it has several VMDKs as hard drives, something that is typical of exported VMs. Do you know if they have setup instructions? Did you follow them (if they exist)?
• If changing the template to 64-bit Ubuntu does not work, read the following from the FAQ: I have a 64bit host, but can't install 64bit guests.
