Windows Network configuration for Ubuntu (guest) Hotspot

Hello,

Sorry at first, second post and asking for help.

I have this environment:

OS Host: Windows 7
2 Network cards
Guest OS: Ubuntu based Raiddesk Hotspot Appliance

The first Network card is connected to the Internet. (Router) IP: 192.168.15.200/24 GW: 192.168.15.254
The second Network card (IP: 192.168.137.1) is connected to a wifi accesspoint (IP: 192.168.137.2)

My problem is how do I have to configure the network cards within Windows and Virtualbox to fit the requirements that:
  • The first network card can be used by the guest and Windows? (Bridged Mode?)
  • The second network card should be connected only to the guest system as eth1 means that Users who access the system over the WIFI access point see no services from Windows and could only access the internet when they are successfully authenticated by the hotspot system

Do anyone have setup those system and could help me? At moment I'm standing in the woods but doesn't see any tree...

Kind regards,

Bluezeyes

Yes, you can do that from Windows. From network and sharing center, look at the properties of the NICs. For the NIC which you want to restrict to the guest only, clear all the checkboxes which provide Windows services, and leave only the virtualbox bridged networking driver checked.
