Having trouble getting a Windows 8.1 pre-built VM running

Post by Xelleld »

I have a pre-built VM from the IE dev test website (VMs that run a trial version of Windows) and can't get my 8.1 VM running. The OS itself crashes before it finishes loading.
The log's on pastebin. Once you're on pastebin just put /e2XGPFgx after the actual main address.
I apologize for the lack of a link to the log. I don't have the permissions to post URLs yet. Thanks in advance for your help!

You don't need to post a URL to a log. Just zip it and attach the zip directly here.

The following FAQ deals with how you investigate this problem: FAQ: I have a 64bit host, but can't install 64bit guests. Although this FAQ talks about 64bit guests, in fact even 32bit versions of Windows 8.x (and 10.x) require VT-x/AMD-v.
