I have installed guest additions with Direct3D enable after one too many times and even tried installing Direct3D in safe mode and even that didn't work. I also can't get usb devices to work either other than mouse and keyboard, I have tried the technique of deleting all fields except name but it freezes my computer when I try to activate the usb device. Please help because I can't find any answers that have worked for me.

Re: Direct3D and USB Fail to work
Most D3D related issues are down to either:
1) Your D3D isn't enabled
2) Your Drivers being out-dated and under-tuned.
BTW, are you facing any error?

With the VM fully shut down, right click it in GUI. Select "Show Log" and save "VBox.log" (ONLY) to a zip file. Attach the zip here.
